It’s National Adoption Week!

This annual celebration was created to highlight stray or abandoned animals in need of fur-ever homes and improve the lives of rescue animals all around the world!

It is estimated that approximately 3 million, yes, MILLION, cats entered rescues and shelters across the United States in 2025 alone.

The Greater Houston Area has one of the greatest pet overpopulation problems in the entire country, and organizations work non-stop to help in every way that they can.

Whether it’s placing a cat into a forever home through adoption, educating members of our community the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, providing TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) services, distributing essential supplies like food to families in need so they can keep their companion cats, rescues such as ours cannot function without supporters like YOU.

How can you help Biscuits Cat Haven this National Adoption Week?
