This Saturday, Oct 17th is the NORTHWOODS PASSAGE TRAIL BRUSHING DAY. Meet at the Northwoods Riders garage at 2642 County Rd L at 9:00. Bring UTV’s, chainsaws, loppers, weed-wackers, etc.

If you are trailering your UTV, leave it on the trailer and you will be assigned a location.

All are welcome!! The more the merrier and the quicker we get through the trail system!!

Food and refreshments will follow!

That’s Awesome Surewood Forest!!!

This afternoon, we had the honor of presenting a donation of $30,000 to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.

We are incredibly proud to support this amazing organization and its mission of granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible! We couldn’t do it without all of your support. ⭐️

Women’s Day of Caring is a free event for women who are being treated for breast cancer, who recently finished treatment or finished years ago.
Please read the brochure for more information. They have lots of good resources to help with healing!

We are kicking off the snowmobile season with our CALENDAR raffle.

It will run for the month of December. If your ticket is drawn you are a winner and your ticket will be placed back into the drawing. So technically you have 30 chances to win!!! 😁. The tickets are $100 each. Please see the payouts on the ticket for each day. Please put your name and mailing address on the ticket so I can send you a check if you win.

The winners will be drawn at 11:15 am at Castaways each day except for Christmas Day.

And the begging begins….

~Winter Snowfall Forecast~

Some areas will likely receive average to slightly above average snowfall. However, the further north you go, I'm expecting well below average snowfall totals as low as 25-30". Ridging in the Upper Midwest will likely lead to below average snowfall in the lake effect snow belts as well. There will be periods of northwest flow, especially in January and February that will bring a couple of rather significant lake effect events. Further south, historically with a strengthening subtropical jet, if enough cold air occurs, big winter storms happen. I think the track will likely be along and south of I-90 for the best potential for these leading to snowfall totals between October and next April between 30 and 45 inches. Remember, don't expect everyone to get the predicted amount of snowfall. This is a rough estimate. If you don't, I like to be as close as I can be. Either way, don't expect a crazy winter for snowfall with limited periods of sustained snowpack.
