Meet Lilly. Lilly is new to Kinship. Attending TES. Lilly loves to be read to and spends as much time outside as possible. Lilly is waiting for a mentor or a lunch buddy.

School is right around the corner. We are in need of Lunch Buddy Mentors. This is a one-hour commitment over the duration of school. Once a week spending lunch and recess with a child. If you would like to know more, please reach out to Brittney at 715-409-1011.

What an incredible day honoring Dr. Bobbi Voermans and supporting Kinship of Tomahawk. 💙⛳️

Today marked the 6th Annual Dr. Bobbi Voermans Memorial Golf Outing, hosted at Inshalla Country Club and put on by Hometown Chiropractic Center. We were so grateful to welcome 100 golfers who came out to spend the day with us, remember Bobbi, and support a cause that meant so much to her.

This event truly takes a community. A huge thank you to Besse’s on Clear Lake for catering, to the Callahan sisters for making the delicious desserts, to the many local businesses who generously donated raffle items, to all of our hole sponsors, and to every volunteer who gave their time and energy to make today possible. So many of the people who show up year after year do it because they love Kinship, they loved Bobbi, or both — and that makes this day incredibly special.

All proceeds from the outing benefit Kinship of Tomahawk and help us continue supporting local kids through meaningful mentoring relationships and experiences. We’ll be sharing the final amount raised later this week, but tonight we’re simply feeling incredibly grateful.

Thank you to every golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer, Hometown Chiropractic Center, Inshalla Country Club, Besse’s on Clear Lake, the Callahan sisters, and everyone else who helped make our 6th year such a success. Bobbi’s impact continues to be felt throughout this community, and we are honored to celebrate her legacy in a way that continues giving back to the kids of Tomahawk. 💙

Reminder to Tomahawk youth in need of a backpack and school supplies, come by this Wednesday, August 12, from 3-7pm at the new Kinship House, 227 W Wisconsin Ave. This is a community event open to all youth in the Tomahawk School District thanks to the support of community members, Bethel Excavating, and local churches including Grace Lutheran Church, Northwoods Vineyard Church, United Methodist Church, The Rock Church, and the First Congregational Church.

This Wednesday is our School Supply & Backpack Event.

What an awesome day at the Kinship house. Thank you The Brickyard for building some beautiful additions to our neighborhood! Little by little, piece by piece our big building is feeling more and more like home. All are welcome to sit & read a book from the little lending library. (Might want to let the stain dry a bit further 😉) Book to long to read it there? Feel free to take it home! Thank you to all the folks who stopped by to eat a cookie and find a book to read. Next building project maybe a few more will join in the building action. A big thank you to Nicky Krause & her family of volunteers.
