Ties That Bind Us Supporting Cancer Patients in the Tomahawk Community

Ties That Bind Us began when a group of women from Tomahawk, each of them breast cancer survivors who had a desire to give back to the community, got together and realized they shared a common goal. Initial administrative and financial support was given through a gift from the Tomahawk Community Foundation. A partnership was formed with the Sacred Heart Hospital Foundation and the Ties That Bind U

s was formally launched. Whether you are a patient, survivor or a member of the Tomahawk community, we all have a "tie" to help you make this a recovery journey to survivorship.

We are extremely proud of our community for their support of our organization, which now enables us to pay it forward and provide mammogram screenings to those who cannot afford them, thereby giving them peace of mind.
