Day 3 of UTVing starts with another great breakfast at Twin Gables by 8am. After 4 hours/61 miles riding on hilly, slippery sandy tree-lined trails, lunch was at Buckhorn Bar & Grill in Gordon. After lunch Dick & Linda took on some “iffy paths” that were narrow with over grown trees & bushes swabbing our windows with branches. Twice we had to create our own “go around” to continue on. We did get back to Brule for pie & ice cream. It was another great day UTVing with friends, for 10 hours/141 miles. See less

11 TrailSeekers enjoy a great breakfast at The Twin Gables in Brule before hitting the trails. Thanks Dean & Loni for leading us around on some fantastic trails in the Valhalla National Forest. We stopped at the Valhalla Ski Chalet (now a year-round shelter for all-sport visitors) to have our packed lunch before hitting the trails again. It was a wonderful day (8 hours/125 miles) of “seeking trails”; hence, our club name TrailSeekers!

The high railway trestle is going into Upson, no railing on one side so the passengers didn't get out!

Our club meeting & lunch was at The Grill today. It was a great meeting & excellent burger. Afterward some of us UTV'd back to Tomahawk to pay a visit to other businesses: Mary's Hangout on S and Mama D's du Lac on the Spirit Flowage. Both places had an outside picnic table to enjoy the sunshine & gentle breeze. And as always, great camaraderie.

The August 8th ride started with breakfast at one of our sponsors, VFW. After picking up 7 more TrailSeekers, Dean & Loni led us to The Big Dipper for lunch. From there, we continued north to the Fifield area. After a few more hours of riding, the group split in half because some planned to be home between 4 & 5 and others wanted to keep riding.

Leaving Lake Tomahawk bound for Eagle River with Dean & Loni leading fellow TrailSeekers for a sunny day of UTVing. We rode more than 100 miles in the Lake Tomahawk, St. Germain, Conover, Sayner, and Woodruff areas.

Don led TrailSeekers on the Cruiser Trail looking for the Tour de Woodboro/Cassian trails & routes. 5 UTVs and 1 ATV followed us to Perch Lake Park, a peaceful place to be one with nature. Then onto Birch Lake Bar for lunch and camaraderie. 62 miles on this beautiful, 73 degree day.
