The Tomah Youth Hockey Association stands with our community as we mourn the heartbreaking loss of a local wrestling athlete whose life was tragically lost this weekend.

Our hearts are with his family, teammates, coaches, and everyone who knew and loved him. The loss of a young person impacts an entire community, and we want his family to know they are not alone during this incredibly difficult time.

As an organization rooted in teamwork, resilience, and supporting one another beyond the rink, we will be making a donation to his benefit to help support his family. We encourage those who are able to join us—whether by attending the benefit, contributing, or simply keeping this family in your thoughts.

Together, we stand as one community.

It is with the heaviest of hearts we share the news of the passing of one of our own, Gus Helming.

For 10 years, we had the joy of watching him grow not only as an incredible wrestler but a wonderful leader and young man. Whether it was on the mat or at the farm, Gus always worked hard and gave 100% every time. He was the teammate in every corner, offering support, a grin, or a hug. Our club feels incomplete without him.

Please keep his family in your prayers as they navigate this immense loss and the days ahead🙏

Good Morning Tomah Youth Hockey Families -

Each April, Tomah Youth Hockey has our annual Board Election. This year’s voting will be done online & start on Sunday 4/12 and run until Sunday 4/19 at noon. Links to ballots will be sent out to TYH families via email at Noon on Sunday 4/12. Please be sure to check your SPAM/Junk email folders since sometimes that is where the emails land.

Terms on our Board are for two years. The following Board Members have 1 year remaining on their terms:

· Jay Greeno

· Derek Nofisinger

· Beau Oliver

· Jesse Roush

· Matt King

· Lisa King

The following candidates will appear on this year’s ballot in the order which was randomly drawn on 4/9:

· Tommy Sayer (Current Board Member)

· Gina Noth (Current Board Member)

· Steve Ravenscroft (Current Board Member)

· Joannie Boldon

· Andrew Boldon

· Luke Haun (Current Board Member)

We ask that you vote for up to seven (7) candidates to serve a two-year term. Each family is only allowed one ballot submission. If families submit multiple ballots only the first submission will be accepted. If more than seven (7) candidates are voted for, the ballot will be discarded.



Election results will be discussed at our Board Meeting at 6PM on Sunday 4/19. Any questions on this year’s election can be directed to me.
