Volunteer sign up is underway for the 6th Annual Squirrelfest on July 11, in Winnebago Park. We need volunteers to sign up for a two hour shift (10-noon, noon to 2, or 2 to 4 pm) to work in the kids games tent, to supervise the bouncy house, work the snack tent, man the first aid tent, grill burgers, or help people on and off our pontoon (for rides). Please email us the time you wish to work and the “duty” (kids games, bouncy house, etc) to [email protected] before July 1st.

Or, tell us “I’ll help wherever you need me” and we will sign you up. All volunteers will receive a confirmation email around July 1st with your shift time and duty.

Our friends at Bluff and Ridge Equine Therapy are running the food tent this year. If you wish to volunteer in the food tent please email [email protected]

before July 1st to be included in our list of donors and sponsors. Money will be used towards tent rental, bouncy house rental, the Lumberjack show, gasoline for pontoon boat and wagon rides, and to purchase prizes for children. Can you add or post an update? I just got a call about “tiers” for donations. We are happy to accept any donation of any size but do have donation tiers set up at $300, $500 and $1,000 levels and are looking for one main sponsor of $5,000 for the Lumberjack Show.

Squirrelfest is a free family festival with free children’s games, prizes, arts and crafts, free entertainment, live music and free popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream. Donations help keep Squirrelfest free and affordable for families. Please consider donating to this unique event, held in Winnebago Park on July 11th from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Nasa was happy to be invited to the 45th Annual Monroe County Dairy Breakfast held in Cashton on the Tresher Farm. Nasa volunteer Dustin Olson had the Chipmunk on site to provide transportation for disabled and elderly guests and a booth was manned by nasa volunteers Lindsey Guenther, Dave & Laurie Stutzman, and Chad Hartley. Over 3,000 people attended and many stopped by to say hi or learn about nasa.
