🚨 EMERGENCY NEED 🚨

Caring Closet Inc. is desperately in need of diapers — specifically sizes 4, 5, & 6.

Every week, we help local children and families facing crisis situations, foster care placements, emergencies, poverty, and unexpected hardships. Right now, our diaper shelves are running dangerously low, and we need our community’s help.

If you are able to donate, every package makes a difference and helps us continue supporting families with dignity, comfort, and care.

Our Unique Approach:

What started with a simple love for children and the desire to make a difference for just one student… turned into something so much bigger.

Eight years ago, we became foster parents.

Since then, we’ve welcomed over 30 children into our home—most arriving with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Along the way, there’s been one guardianship, one adoption, countless court dates, emergency room visits, sleepless nights, and moments that have both broken and filled our hearts.

We’ve celebrated milestones with tears of joy, and we’ve carried the weight of heartbreak and goodbyes.

Through it all, one thing became clear—we needed to do more.

We needed to be a safe place.
A resource.
A support system.
A voice.
A difference.

And that’s how Caring Closet Inc. was born.

What started as backpacks filled with essentials grew into a storage unit… and today has become a warm, welcoming space that feels like home. A place with visit rooms, a sensory playroom, and a resource area designed to meet the needs of children and families in our community.

These past 8 years have stretched me in every way. I’ve felt strong, but also more defeated than I ever thought possible. I’ve held my head high while silently wiping away tears. I’ve learned what secondhand trauma really means. I’ve witnessed reunification. I’ve watched families grow through adoption.

And still—every single day—I choose to keep going.

Because these children don’t get to choose their circumstances. They don’t get to choose where they sleep, or what home they wake up in.

But we can choose to show up for them.

I’m proud to continue fighting for them—to keep creating something better, something safer, something full of hope.

But I can’t do it alone.

If you feel called to make even the smallest difference… if you want to help make life a little easier for the children and families who need it most…

Please reach out.
