A thank you from Brittany 💕

I want to say thank you so much to EVERYONE this weekend that came out to support our family. I can't say how much it means to me. And a very special thank you to John and Nicki Zellmer, Katie Zellmer and Courtney Zellmer for putting together such an amazing benefit for us. I feel so incredibly blessed!

UPDATES - Brittany has completed her initial treatment plan ( chemo, external, and internal radiation) she now has to wait until April to see how well these treatments have worked. Power of Prayer!!!
Physically - She is very fatigued, gets shakey, and has a racey heart daily.
Mentally - She is remaining positive!
During her recovery, she is spending her days working on homeschool work with Mitch and keeping up with now 5 month old,Nora (who has already started crawling & sitting herself up. Little stinker!!!) At this time she does not yet have a return date to go back to work.
The benefit we are having on Feb. 4th - 10 days!
We have filled all bowling slots.
We have filled the raffle spots for all 3 bows - 100 spots each. We are getting baskets together for the raffle drawing.

We will be at the Strikezone in Tomah all day on Saturday, February 4th. Stop down to wish Brittany well, enter raffles for a chance to win some nice stuff, participate in the 50/50 drawing or watch the bowlers to see who wins the 8 pin tap tournament. (Shifts are 1:00, 4:00 and 7:00)
You do not have to be present to win any of the basket/bow drawings. Winners will be notified.
We will also have a 50/50 raffle during each tournament shift (1:00, 4:00, 7:00). You will need to be present for these.

We're getting closer to the Bowling for Brittany - Cancer Benefit day - February 4th!
We are still taking basket or direct donations.

Our bowling slots are full, so it will be a great tournament!! If you are not bowling, still feel free to come down - if we have no shows we may need fill ins.
All spots are sold for the 3 bows we are raffling - We have more baskets to raffle, and get in on the 50/50 raffle!!

UPDATE FROM BRITTANY:

I'm being released from the hospital today!

They did a thrombecomty to pull the bloods clots out surgically yesterday, and I am feeling much better today! The longest clot they pulled out was 4 inches long, and they said that if they were to string them together it would have been about a foot of clots. They were not able to get EVERYTHING and they did find some clots in my legs but they say that I should be okay on the blood thinners they have me on.

Thank you to everyone for the prayers. It means more to me than I could possibly say!

And thank you so much to my mom for being here through everything, including staying 2 nights with me in the hospital in an uncomfortable vinyl recliner!

Brittany is out of her surgery and they removed MANY blood clots from her lungs. Her oxygen levels are doing better and they will keep her overnight and monitor her.
She is scheduled to start internal radiation tomorrow.
This girl has been through a lot 🥺

An update from Brittany:

Yesterday, after my chemo, my mom and I went to Walmart, and while walking through the store, I had a sudden episode where I could not breathe.

We went to the ER, where I had a CT scan and was diagnosed with a saddle blood clot in my lungs and admitted to the hospital.

I see a cardiologist today to determine next steps. They may try to break up the clot or they may just send me home on blood thinners.

I will try to keep everyone updated as I learn more! Thank you so much for all of the prayers already coming in! It means so much to me!
