UPDATE: Thanks to some beautiful supporters, the cost for her medical food (Renal) has been covered!

Before: Can you help with food for her? Royal renal kibble and wet food is needed asap because there's no more kibble. Need to raise $110 for that food. SHE IS OUT OF KIBBLE and almost the wet food. (Prof. Lovey is now minus that hernia in the video and she has been fully vetted, ready for rescue!)

5/20/26 It's time! She is READY FOR A RESCUE!

5/1/26 Prof. Lovey has had surgery and it was complicated with adhesions that were unexpected. However, she's doing good, eating and is now in recovery mode, hospitalized. Thank you, Dr. Juan for your skills! Very soon she'll be ready for RESCUE!!!!!

Before:
4/23/26 Prof. Lovey is growing fur around the area that was neked due a flea allergy - yay! She is happy, running around with other doggies in her foster home and very soon, she will be getting surgery for her hernia. Then she will be ready for a RESCUE! Get ready for the party!

I LOVE HER! Her wittle wegs! Her sausage body! Her ‘be my friend’ face! Let’s learn more about her…..

~7 years old, weighing in at the low 20 pound range.
~She’s been feasting on rocks for dinner, has a big tricky hernia, somehow has walked along with old broken rear legs, fused spine and other Street Dog stuff. And ya know the good news, right?

Prof. Lovey (thank you so much, Tracy DeFrietas for donating and honoring her with her new name!) is now GETTING HELP! Soooo HAPPY about that! Good soft food, pain meds and so on and so forth! Tonight she's being hospitalized. Bloodwork tomorrow!

Help us to help her. Every dollar creates hope and possibilities for her so she can be pain free and healthy! Soon she'll be wagging her tail and the presses will be alerted!

Prof. Lovey ain’t no street dog any more and never will be alone or worried again!
