Dear ATA Members,

Today is my last day as President & CEO of the Arizona Trucking Association, and I couldn't let it pass without saying thank you.

Leading ATA and working alongside all of you has been one of the great privileges of my career, and I'm more grateful than I can put into words for the trust, the partnership, and honestly, the fun we've had along the way.

None of what we've accomplished would have been possible without our incredible staff, who have poured their talent and heart into this Association day in and day out, and our Board of Directors, whose leadership and vision have guided us every step of the way.

Ronald Reagan closed out his own farewell address with a line that's stuck with me: "We did it. We weren't just marking time. We made a difference." That's exactly how I feel about our 13 years together.

Rest assured, it's business as usual at ATA. The Board is hard at work finding our next leader, and our outstanding staff will keep things running smoothly in the meantime — please don't hesitate to reach out to our team with anything you need.

This isn't really goodbye, though. I'll hope to see you all at the Annual Conference on October 26, where I fully expect to be roasted incessantly.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's been the honor.

Arizona State Freight Plan – Final FAC Meeting

The Arizona State Freight Plan (SFP) is nearing completion, and your voice matters! Join the final Freight Advisory Committee (FAC) meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM MST.

The meeting will take place during the public review period for the draft final plan, September 11–25. Stakeholders will have the opportunity to review the plan and provide feedback through a survey.

After 13 years, I'm stepping down as President & CEO of the Arizona Trucking Association. 🚛

I've accepted a new opportunity with UPS, and while this is a big change for me, I'm not going far — I'll still be part of the trucking industry I love, and I look forward to staying connected with so many of you.

Leading ATA has been one of the great privileges of my career. Together, we've grown our membership, strengthened our voice at the State Capitol, and expanded the work of the ATA Foundation. I'm incredibly proud of what this organization has accomplished, and I have full confidence in the Board and staff to keep that momentum going.
