Cider Mill Road Race C***r Mill Road Race is a 3 race event at Crandall Park in Tolland, CT. These races provide fun and exercise for runners of all ages.

Events include the C***r Kids, the C***r Mile, and the C***r Mill 5K. And don't forget, food, music, and awards! The C***r Mill Road Race is a morning of fitness and fun, and includes three events that satisfy runners of all ages and abilities. Our youngest runners participate in the Kids Fun Run, and learn at an early age that running is FUN, and a great way to stay healthy and fit. Older children, and families running together, enjoy the cross-country C***r Mile, a trek through the wooded trails at Crandall Park. Our final event is the C***r Mill 5K -- a challenge for the fastest of runners, and a great goal for beginners. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male/female 5k finishers (overall), as well as trophies to division winners. All participants in the C***r Kids and C***r Mile fun runs receive medals. T-shirts are free to pre-registered runners.

☕ A big shout-out to Tom’s Coffee!

This was our first year having a food truck at the C***r Mill Road Race, and we loved having Tom’s Coffee join us! They were a wonderful addition to race day and helped make the morning even more enjoyable for our runners, volunteers, and spectators.

Thank you, Tom’s Coffee, for being part of our 25th Anniversary celebration! We hope to have you back again next year! ☕🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Morning Timeline:
8:30am- Bib pickup begins (would suggest you pickup you bib a minimum of 30 minutes before race time)
9:00am- C***r Mill Kids race in field by pavilion
9:30am- Roads close
9:45am- C***r Mill 1 Mile
10:30am- 5k Run (Start at the end of the parking lot on C***r Mill Rd. Down C***r Mill to Grant Hill. Runners would take a left onto Partridge Lane. Then take a left at the end of the road onto Woodland St and a left onto Grandview. Runners would then take a right onto C***r Mill Rd to the finish)
11:30am- Roads open back up
11:35am- Award ceremony for the 5k Run under the pavilion

It’s race day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🍎

Before the craziness of the day begins, I want to take a moment to give a HUGE thank you to our incredible C***r Mill Road Race Committee: Jared, AmieLu, Stacey, Diana, Jake and Deb.

There is so much work that goes into putting on this race that most people never see.... months of planning, meetings, emails, sponsor outreach, coordinating vendors, picking up supplies, solving last-minute problems and making sure all the little details come together.

I’m incredibly grateful for the time, energy and heart each of you has put into making the 25th Annual C***r Mill Road Race happen.

Today we finally get to see all that hard work come together. Thank you for being such an amazing team and for helping make this race such a special tradition in our community!

🍎 It Takes a Community to Make Race Day Happen! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

As we put the finishing touches on tomorrow’s 25th Annual C***r Mill Road Race, we want to give a huge thank-you to the Town departments and public safety partners who help us prepare for a safe and successful race day.

There is so much work that happens behind the scenes before the starting line is ever set up—from hanging banners, preparing the park and course, to coordinating roads, traffic, safety, and emergency response.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, planning, coordination, and support these teams provide to the C***r Mill Road Race year after year.
