The Toledo Blade is working on a special Mother’s Day feature titled “Mothers of All Types” and we immediately thought about the incredible women in our community 🤍

They are looking to highlight women who embody motherhood in nontraditional ways, especially those who:

✨ Were unable to carry or have children
✨ But chose to mother in other ways (fostering, adoption, mentorship, community work, etc.)
✨ And would be open to sharing their story and being photographed

They are also hoping to include a surrogate mother if possible.

Because of the work we do at Tiny Hearts Remembered, I know there are so many powerful, beautiful stories like this, stories of love, resilience, and redefining what motherhood looks like.

If this is you or someone you know, please reach out to us before Sunday, April 26th so we can connect you before the publication deadline 🤍

Let’s make sure these stories are seen and honored this Mother’s Day.

Aleeyah recently transferred schools, which we know sometimes can be scary! In the last year in a half, Aleeyah has faced adversity as result of major life changes. Mom has just informed us that Aleeyah has made student of the month at her new school! 🌻🎉

Way to go, Aleeyah! 🥳

Hour 1- Homework Help/Tutoring and Journal Prompts.
Hour 2- Topic discussion and activity.
Hour 3- Free Time.

We understand that for some that is an adjustment, and it takes patience, dedication, and discipline to get them where they need to be. Toledo Lady Suns LLC takes pride in building our young ladies up and being apart of their successful development.
