On February 28, we will be having a bake sale in the cafeteria with all proceeds going to Kelly York, who is currently receiving cancer treatment. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle for Kelly starting on that date.
All donations of baked goods are greatly appreciated

Rumor has it there is a question about the entertainment committee. Apparently I have been blocked from our UAW Mobis page because I did not know about the post until I received a phone call.
To answer the question, I was appointed the chairman of this committee by our former shop Chairman, and I have asked Roberta Noe to help as a co-Chair.

A spokesperson confirms the window will open for applicants to fill the potential candidate pool for future hiring needs throughout the complex beginning around 9:00am Tuesday, July 24, 2018.

Our Mobis UAW party is scheduled for December 16th at the Local 12 Union Hall on Ashland Ave. Unfortunately, this is the only date that was available for our Christmas Party and it looks like we will be scheduled to work that day. The committee will be meeting every Wednesday between shifts starting the week after Thanksgiving to organize and discuss a way to include both shifts. Any and all suggestions are welcome, and everyone is invited to attend our meetings.
To the committee: You all have worked very hard to make these parties memorable and I would like to thank you for all the time and effort you have contributed each year. You are awesome!!

We're planning our Christmas Party on Dec. 16th at Local 12 UAW on Ashland Ave. Anyone wanting to get involved or if you have any suggestions, we are meeting next Wednesday, Sept. 27th in the cafeteria between shifts. All are welcome to join

Tomorrow is the last day we'll be selling tickets for our Cedar Point/Gift Card raffle. I'll be in the front hallway between shifts if you haven't gotten your ticket yet or would like another one. Tuesday Morning is the drawing. I will post the winner on the Union Board & on this web site. GOOD LUCK!!!

The Entertainment Committee is starting another raffle this Friday, 4/29 to raise more money towards our Christmas Party on Dec. 16, 2017.
We will be raffling off two (2) season's passes to Cedar Point. The tickets will be $5. each & the drawing will be on May 24th.
Maybe some lucky winner will be able to use the passes on Memorial Day Weekend!

Good Morning Mobis Associates! Our "Christmas Cash Raffle" is quickly coming to an end. The last day to buy tickets is tomorrow, Dec. 19th. We have already sold close to $900 in tickets & hope to increase that amount to over $1000. Remember, two tickets will be pulled & each ticket holder will receive 1/2 of the total sales. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

We are currently running a raffle to make Christmas a little easier for two possible winners. Tickets are selling at 1/$1, 7/$5, 15/$10, 30/$20. We will draw two tickets on Dec. 19th and each ticket holder will win 1/2 of whatever we have earned in ticket sales. Even though your Entertainment Committee is sponsoring this raffle, we are not making any money this time. All the sales will go to the two winning ticket holders. The last time we held this raffle (3-4 years ago), the total amount split was well over $1300. Let's see if we can break that amount this year. GOOD LUCK!!

Monday, Nov. 21st, is the last day to get raffle tickets for our two (2) $100 gift cards to "The Buckeye Store & More". Two tickets will be drawn for two winners or possibly one lucky person could win both gift cards if more than one ticket is purchased.
Our next raffle will start immediately after the Thanksgiving Holiday. We are going to be selling tickets for our Christmas Holiday Cash Drawing which we held a few years ago & have had many requests to repeat. There will be two winners to this drawing, too. Whatever is sold, two people will split the full amount for some extra Christmas Cash. The last time we held this raffle, each winner took home over $650! The Entertainment Committee will NOT be making any money on this Christmas Cash Raffle. This is strictly for all of you to possibly make your holidays brighter. GOOD LUCK! And HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
