Deflock Toledo event! Sept 13th central & secor at 5pm. We are NOT defacing flock cameras. This is just to protest them. There will be tall signs to block cameras if you’d like to bring one you’re more than welcome. We encourage posters/flyers related to flock during this protest. In order to show people what we’re standing for, we all need to be talking about the same thing.

Toledo City Council delayed the vote on connecting participating schools’ exterior cameras to the Flock system and adding more cameras near schools and busy intersections in District 2.

Please email Council before August 24 and share your position.

Ask Council to vote no until:
- Independent auditing and regular public reporting are established and shared with the public.
- A public hearing is held that meaningfully engages residents, including immigrant families.
- Relevant City policies and school agreements are completed and made available for public review.
- Participating schools adopt appropriate policies governing access, privacy, data use, complaints, and misuse.
- A working group reviews the proposal and submits its initial recommendations.

Join us August 22nd 4-6pm for our no justice no peace protest. This past year alone we have seen how POC are being treated across the country and in our own city. Murdered, kidnapped, missing and discrimination is what our POC community members face every day. TPD has not been held accountable for their racist bigoted behavior and it’s time for that to change.

We will also be passing out ICE whistle kits for the community. If any other orgs. or community members would like to help organize or even say a few words during the protest, please send us a message.

Call Rep Kaptur today, and share your concerns about her vote yes on HR 2616. This vote threatens the safety and education of children, by sexualizing topics related to gender identity in schools.

We won't stand by while a politician who's been in her seat for 40+ years, strips away our rights.
