Our vision is for every person with an abortion experience to receive healing and walk in personal restoration.

We do this through monthly support groups, grief and loss coaching, and specialized bible studies.

If recent conversations about abortion have left you with a heavy heart, you’re not alone.
Sometimes these conversations touch places in our hearts we weren’t expecting or they can bring old memories to the surface that awaken emotions we thought had settled long ago.
In John 8, a woman stood surrounded by people holding stones. Jesus didn’t ignore the truth of her situation, but He didn’t condemn her either. Instead, He met her with mercy and one by one, her accusers walked away knowing they were not without sin.

“Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” John 8:7

What strikes me every time I read this passage is that Jesus was never forced to choose between truth and grace. He was full of both. He saw her whole story. He saw her pain, her brokenness and her circumstances.
When everyone else walked away, Jesus stayed.

The Haven office will be closed next week, March 23rd through March 27th, as our team takes time for training and renewal. While our doors will be closed, we will still be checking messages and responding as we’re able.

Years ago in 2018, I attended a weekend retreat that changed me. I already believed in God, but attending the retreat helped me understand the depth of His love for me personally. Before the retreat, I knew in knowledge that I was forgiven and loved, but I didn’t accept it in my heart yet. The guilt and shame kept me from it.
Healing at the weekend retreat was just the beginning for me. Healing didn’t erase my past, but it changed how I carry it. My retreat became the place where I began to experience the freedom that comes from knowing my worth in God’s eyes.
