Meet Annabelle Nolasco , Conservation Technician at the museum! Here's why she's voting yes in today's election!

"The Midwest has a long and vibrant Union history, and to be a part of this legacy and to better serve my community, is an honor. Unionization is a natural step for employees who want to sustain the benefits that brought them to the museum to begin with, and for an employer who is committed to retaining their employees and to continue to recruit the best talent in the industry."

Meet Caroline Keller , Assistant Librarian at the TMA! Here's why she's voting yes in the election tomorrow:

"I am voting yes for the future. In today's political climate, the future of museums, libraries, and other cultural heritage institutions is at risk. It is essential to ensure that TMA employees, both now and in the future, receive fair wages and job security. With the support of a union, we can protect museum workers and secure their futures."

"I am voting yes because I believe an employer of choice allows all staff the opportunity to have direct collective bargaining. The Toledo Museum of Art is my community and I want to see every member earning a comfortable wage with reasonable medical and retirement benefits.

I am endlessly grateful for the opportunities that the Museum has given me, including a promotion, professional development, and our 12 weeks paid maternity leave. It is my hope a union will contractually continue benefits such as these so that future employees are guaranteed to enjoy them as well."
