𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 (𝗮 𝗽𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘆𝗺), 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿, 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲.
After her husband went to jail, she was safe — until a fractured ankle caused her to miss work, fall behind on rent and face eviction. She feared she’d have to return to her abuser just to keep her children housed.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻, paid her past-due rent and kept her family safe in their Lucas County home.

Stories like hers happen every day. One unexpected bill can trap a survivor in a dangerous relationship.

Last weekend, we were fortunate to have a beautiful morning to remember Tammy Bowlin-Macrae at the 15th annual Tammy's Walk's at Walbridge Park.

Every year, Tammy's family does a wonderful job organizing the event to honor not only Tammy, but other victims of domestic violence in Lucas County.

We appreciate the support Tammy's family continues to provide to us as we help victims of violent crime in Lucas County.
