Women & Philanthropy at The University of Toledo Women & Philanthropy supports and promotes The University of Toledo—while building relationships amon

Women & Philanthropy at The University of Toledo aspires to promote the University through investments and grants to University initiatives. We are committed to forging new relationships and building a community of thoughtful, effective philanthropists among women, diverse in age, interests and backgrounds. Members of our giving circle pledge a minimum of $1,000 per year to a donor-designated fund

at The University of Toledo Foundation. All donations from members are deposited into a pooled fund and at the end of the year, the monies will be granted to a University program based on a member vote. In addition to the philanthropic work done by the circle, members enjoy special programming and the opportunity to meet with each other. Members care deeply about their opportunities to influence, mentor and guide other young women on their own private road to philanthropy.

This morning, members of Women & Philanthropy at The University of Toledo visited the wig bank at Renee's Survivor Shop, a project our members proudly helped fund through the 2024 Holiday Project.

Located within the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center, this meaningful resource offers patients comfort, confidence, and care, a reminder that compassion and community are powerful forces in the fight against cancer.

We also had the opportunity to hear from some of the Dana Cancer team members including Renée Schick and Dr. Hadziahmetovic.

Moments like these highlight the incredible impact of philanthropy in action and the strength of the UToledo community working together to make a difference.
