DogworksOhio Dogworks is an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization based in Toledo, OH. Our purpose is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome dogs.

All dogs are located in foster homes throughout the hour radius we serve. Dogworks is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group based in Toledo, OH, whose purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, neglected, and unwanted dogs. Most dogs are rescued from euthanizing shelters, although some come to us from relinquishing owners or other means. All dogs are fostered in volunteer homes until a

doption. We do not have a shelter or kennel facility. We strive to rescue as many dogs as we can, but the need for new fosters and volunteers is crucial to our continuing efforts!

Sweet Butter has officially found her forever home!

This beautiful little girl came to us after the heartbreaking passing of her beloved owner. Change like that can be confusing and scary for a dog, but Butter has shown nothing but gentle patience and a tender heart through it all.

Today, her story turns a new page. She has been adopted into a loving home where she will be cherished, safe, and adored for the rest of her days. 💕

Butter’s journey is a reminder of just how deeply dogs love—and how deserving they are of love in return, especially after loss.

🍀 Murphy Has Found His Forever Home! 🍀

Our second St. Patrick’s Day puppy is officially adopted!

Murphy may have thought he was getting a family, but we’re pretty sure he was really getting two little sidekicks. Judging by the smiles in this photo, these girls were ready to welcome him from the moment they met. We can already picture countless games of fetch, backyard adventures, movie nights, and plenty of cuddles in Murphy’s future.

This sweet boy has found exactly what every rescue dog deserves—a loving family, a warm home, and children to grow up alongside. We have a feeling he’ll be making memories with his new best friends for years to come.

Congratulations to Murphy and his wonderful family! Thank you for choosing adoption and giving this lucky pup the happily-ever-after he was waiting for. ❤️🐾

🚨 We’re Back in Charge! 🚨

We’re happy to announce that the administrators are once again in control of this page!

We still have a couple glitches that we are working through, but we are able to access the page again!

Although the situation was short-lived, at the time we didn’t know if or when we were going to regain access to the page.

You can expect regular updates, adoption announcements, event information, success stories, and all the dog-related content you love. 🐾

We’re excited to reconnect with our supporters, volunteers, fosters, adopters, and followers. Thank you for sticking with us—we’re back in charge and looking forward to moving ahead together!

🍀 DUBLIN HAS BEEN ADOPTED… AND HE’S PRETTY SURE HE’S IN CHARGE NOW 🍀

One of our St. Patty’s Day puppies, Dublin, has officially marched his way into his forever home and he did it with maximum wiggles and zero shame.

He has joined a family with some younger humans, which means he has already accepted his very important role as:
✔ Chief Toy Tester
✔ Professional Snack Inspector
✔ Chaos Coordinator for Family Fun
✔ And occasional “I swear I didn’t do that” expert

We’re not saying he immediately claimed the coziest spot on the couch… but we’re also not not saying it.

Dublin is thrilled, his new family is thrilled, and honestly the furniture is probably just bracing itself.

Go be your ridiculous, adorable self, silly boy…your forever people are lucky, but they don’t know what they’re in for yet. 🍀🐾

This sweet girl is joining a big, loving family who can’t wait to spoil her, include her in their everyday adventures, and give her all the comfort and joy she’s been waiting for. From playtime to cuddle time, Mocha is stepping right into a life filled with love and belonging.

After enduring life as a puppy mill dog, sweet Lucy Lu has finally gotten the happy ending she deserves. 💕 This precious girl spent far too long being valued for what she could produce instead of being loved for who she is. Despite everything she has been through, Lucy Lu never lost her gentle spirit or her ability to trust.
