God made you special, and He loves you so very much!”🔆⁣

Ollie & Lollie are headed to Guatemala and will accompany teams as they install stoves in homes that currently use open fires to cook. These homes don’t have proper ventilation, so cooking this way causes serious health problems for many families.

Teams will have the chance to meet this very real and practical need, while also blessing the little ones with a *somewhat less practical but still very valuable reminder of God’s love for them* gift.

Thank you to all the sunshine makers near and far who are lovingly creating sweet pals for this mission.✈️🇬🇹💗☀️🌎

Ollie Octo is busy spreading sunshine & the love of Jesus with precious children in Guatemala, and we are forever grateful for this opportunity. 🌎🙏🏼

Thank you to all the wonderful makers who send in their handiwork. Your creations travel near, and sometimes very far, but they always end up in the hands of little ones who love them dearly.❤️☀️ Thank you for helping to let these little ones know they are known and so loved!

Lord, we pray for the Foundation Stone mission team. We pray for safety and favor as they serve and minister to these families. Surround them as a shield, Father, and may the hearts they come into contact with be open and willing to hear and receive the good news of Your Son. We pray for open doors and victory in Jesus’ name! Amen.🙌🏼

We can’t wait to hear from the mission teams in the Dominican Republic & Costa Rica as they come home tomorrow! Praying for their safe travels and so thankful for the time they had to minister & serve. 🙏🏼❤️🌎

Lord bless the mission teams as they head to the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica this Saturday. We’re praying for their safety, open doors and open hearts as they spread the gospel.⁣

And we trust that all the sunshine pals that tag along, will spread so much love and joy in the orphanages and shelters they will be given to.⁣
⁣

Our Story

Delivering handmade wigs, beanies, and toys to little ones battling cancer or facing other great difficulties.

Our mission is to bring joy, hope, and sunshine into the lives of little warriors as they fight big battles. Our Sunshine gifts reach children in local hospitals, clinics, shelters, foster care, and in their own homes locally and abroad.

Our gifts invite children back into the world of play. They are a source of fun, laughter and security in difficult times, and they provide a means of building relationship with families who are in need of support in our community.

For our little cancer fighters: Chemotherapy treatments often leave their scalps too sensitive for traditional wigs. Sunshine Wigs and beanies are made with the softest yarn, so they’re not just fun, they’re comfy too!

Maybe a kiddo who is battling cancer or another ongoing health issue, or one whose day to day is impacted by a disability? Maybe you know a child who is navigating a season of loss or trauma. Message us to nominate a kiddo for a little handmade sunshine, and leave a brief note about the child and their situation.

Don’t know how to knit or crochet? That’s ok! There are so many ways to help that don’t require stitching know how.

2. Attending Workshops, where we tie on and style yarn hair for Sunshine Wigs, write encouraging notes, and package gifts. ~Watch our Events for future Sunshine Workshops~ NO YARN KNOWLEDGE NEEDED
