Established locally in 1984, the Mothers' Center of Greater Toledo our mission is to offer our members friendship (for both parents and children), parenting support, community involvement, intellectual stimulation, playgroups, resum

e-building leadership skills, and much more. Our members are from all over the Greater Toledo area and include stay-at-home and working moms of newborns, toddlers and school-aged children. The Mothers' Center of Greater Toledo is welcoming to all, does not discriminate, and is a non-sectarian, non-denominational organization.

Thank you to everyone that joined us to start our summer play dates! It was a beautiful day to be outside.

For anyone wanting to join us on our Family Hike tomorrow, we will be meeting at 3:30 pm at the Secor Center at Secor MP.

Our guide plans to travel at little kid pace, with plenty of pauses to touch, smell, and climb! Sunscreen, bug spray, and water bottles recommended. We will be on dirt or gravel trails.

SUMMER! We are starting our summer park series and heading to General's Ice Cream on Saturday. Summer park playdates are no pressure ways to scope us out and see what we are all about, no membership needed. Look for the MCGT signs, hats, or tees to find a member. We hope you can come play with us!

It's the last week of our year! Fun fact: The MCGT formal schedule runs from September to May. So, our schedule may look a little different to you, but we are still pretty active behind the scenes setting up our next year of events and having some pretty cool private events set up by our members.

But, for this week, we will have one more play date at the UCC and start our Summer Park Series this week, ending with a Family Hike led at a MetroPark by one of our members.

Our year is finishing up! Let's go play!

We are starting to work our way to our summer park play series and heading to Rotary Park. Rotary Park is a favorite for its' inclusive equipment and enclosed play area. Have questions? Look for a member wearing a MCGT tee or hat. You'll probably find me and my 2 year old hanging out at the firetruck!

We have our second big spring event coming up this week! Who has done the massive chore of going through clothes for the change of seasons? Have some stuff that is too small and you need to rid of it? Don't have enough short sleeve shirts?

Our member clothing swap has us all finding warm weather clothes for our little humans (and us, too!). This is one of the most fun events, my 2 year old is already asking for me to find her "a spinny dress" for summer! What can I say, the girl likes to twirl.

We have a morning and an evening timeslot to accommodate all members. No need to find childcare, members are welcome to bring their kids, the play areas will be available.
