Bethany Community Fellowship Bethany Community Fellowship is a Bible believing church in Sylvania, Ohio. To him be glory forever.

If you are looking for a church family and you have a heart to know God's Word in a deeper way so that you might grow by it, then we think Bethany is a place you would love to visit. Our aim is to be as biblical as we can be: majoring on what is major in the Scriptures, and seeking to apply God's truth to our lives such that we can echo what the Apostle Paul said in Romans 11:36 - “For from him and through him and to him are all things. Amen.”

This morning, Dr. Snoeberger continued our Genesis series with "The Wages of Sin, Part 3: The Remedy for Sin (Genesis 3:7-24)." This sobering and hope-filled reminder calls us to examine where we stand before God and where true peace is found:

“God knows...whether you remain liable for the punishment of the sins that you have committed or whether you have transferred them by God’s grace, to Jesus Christ, who has absorbed them and discharged them. You will never have peace apart from doing that.”

Dr. Snoeberger’s sermon, "The Wages of Sin, Part 2: Things Get Worse Before They Get Better" (Genesis 3:7-24), reminds us that sin brings pain and brokenness, but God’s grace points us to a greater hope.

“This affliction which we now endure, produces an eternal and exceeding weight of glory that far outweighs it all. We have to understand pain before we can understand the joy that is to follow.”

In his sermon “The Wages of Sin, Part 1” (Genesis 3:7–24), Dr. Snoeberger reminded us that our response to sin matters not only before God, but also in our relationships with one another.

“May God give us the grace and the humility in our homes, in our neighborhoods, in our church, to resist the pattern…of Adam and Eve.”
