HOLY TOLEDO! It has already been quite a May at Local 92!
🔥Last week, our Secretary Treasurer attended the Advanced Communications Training Academy hosted by the International Association of Fire Fighters in Washington D.C., joining 31 other union leaders from across the US and Canada to learn from leading professionals in media and communications.
🔨This week, we are busy in the hall with committee and membership meetings, and you may also notice our hall is getting a bit of a glow-up!
🎸We also just announced Red Wanting Blue as the headliner for the 419MusicFest on September 26th at Promenade Park! It is an all-day free music festival that benefits Toledo Firefighters Local 92 Charities Non-Profit Organization.
🤝Finally, next week we are hosting the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters 55th Biennial Conference in downtown Toledo. Over 400 union leaders from across the state will convene in our fair city to conduct the work of our state association.
