A Young Entrepreneur with a Heart of Gold

D’s Care Candles was started in the fall of 2017 by an 11 year old boy named Donovan. He wanted to make a difference in the world by helping those with Cancer. He participated in a program called “Compassion Chronicles” and came up with the idea to make and sell candles and have 100% of the proceeds go to a local cancer patient. He chose cancer because his maternal grandmother is a breast cancer survivor and his maternal grandfather passed away in 2012 from a rare form of blood cancer. Donovan is now 12 years old and still has a passion for helping others through his candle business.

At this time, current scents are: Vanilla, Fresh Linen, Black Cherry, and Apple Cinnamon (fragrances are subject to change). Candles are $5 each and come in a glass jar. If you would like to purchase candles, please inbox or comment. Remember that 100% of the profits go to help a local cancer patient. You may also make a direct donation if you’d like to support.
