The 72nd Toledo Police Academy will be hosting a Back-to-School Supply Giveaway for City of Toledo children this Sunday, August 10th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event will take place in the parking lot for The Ribbon at Glass City Metropark.

This initiative is part of the Community Service component of the Academy curriculum. Each cadet is required to complete 16 hours of service as part of their graduation requirement. In addition to organizing this event, cadets have served with Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo, Food for Thought, and Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful.

G2 and the Church of 2nd Chances will be hosting a 2-day drug abuse and violence prevention Minority Health Month event April 12th @ the Main Branch Library from 1-3pm and April 26th @ the Mott Branch Library from 2-4pm. The event is intended for ages 12-24 free and open to the public. Free school supplies and snacks will be provided while they last.
This event is sponsored by The Ohio Commission on Minority Health. Thank you for your support!
