It’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Congress must urge the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to expedite the release of all congressionally approved Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) and Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) funding.
These delays are putting survivor services at risk—forcing programs to consider staff cuts, reduced services, and even closures. Survivors can’t wait.

Repost this message and reach out to your members of Congress today by calling the U.S. Capitol Switchboard: (202) 224-3121.

💜 A heartfelt thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Lucas County! 💜

We are incredibly grateful to Lucas County for sponsoring this year’s Woman to Woman Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Denise Brown.

Because of partners like Lucas County, we can create meaningful opportunities for our community to come together, have important conversations about domestic violence, and connect individuals and families with the resources and support they need.

Their generosity helps us extend our reach, strengthen our mission, and remind survivors that they are not alone. Behind every conversation, every connection, and every step toward safety is a community willing to show up and make a difference.

Thank you, Lucas County, for believing in this work and helping us build a community where every individual deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity for a fresh start. We are honored to have your support! 💜
