🌻🥕 It’s harvest season! Time to reap what you’ve sown. 🌱

After a long, hot summer of sunshine, watering, weeding, tending, and watching our gardens GROW, the harvest is here and it’s time to enjoy the rewards! ☀️🌿

For those growing their own food, this is one of the most exciting times of the year. But when the garden starts producing more than you can eat right now, don’t let that abundance go to waste!

✨ Plan to preserve your harvest!

🍅 Can tomatoes, salsa, jams, and pickles
❄️ Freeze fruits, vegetables, and herbs
🌿 Dry or dehydrate herbs, fruits, and vegetables
🥒 Pickle or ferment your favorite garden veggies
🍶Make sauces, pesto, soups, and other ready-to-enjoy favorites

Preserving your harvest allows you to stretch the season, reduce food waste, save money, and enjoy the fruits (and veggies!) of your labor long after the garden slows down. 💚

This year, our hardworking honey bees produced nearly 700 POUNDS of honey right here on the Toledo GROWs farm! 🌻🐝 That’s a whole lot of golden goodness and we’re excited to share it with you!

The 2026 Toledo GROWs Harvest Dinner Series is here! Enjoy a delicious four-course, farm-to-table dinner featuring produce grown at Toledo GROWs Farm; all while supporting our work to grow healthy food, thriving gardens, and a stronger community. 💚

✨ Remaining dinner dates:
🍴 Registry Bistro — October 5
🍴 Stone Cut Bistro — October 19
🍴 Barr’s Public House — November 8

$100 per person | Vegetarian & vegan options available

There is also limited space still available at our Harvest Brunch - October 10th and tickets are $50 per person.

Bring your little garden explorers to Toledo GROWs for another fun-filled farm adventure! Join us Tuesday, September 29th from 12–1 PM for hands-on garden activities, story time, a tasty snack, and plenty of opportunities to play, learn, and explore together! 🍎🌿📚
