Friday Energy Assistance Tip: You Can Apply Online!

Need help with your home energy costs?

If you think you may qualify for HEAP, you can apply online through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

💻 Before you start your application, gather:

🧾 Your current gas bill and/or utility account number
🔢 Social Security numbers for everyone in your household
📋 Information about everyone living in your household
💰 Proof of income for the required time period
📄 Citizenship or qualified alien documentation, when applicable

⏰ Important: Having your documents ready when you apply can help avoid delays in processing.
