A few Toledo Early College Youth Creating Change members were privileged with the opportunity to participate in the Dedication and Ribbon Cutting for the Starburst at International Cove, within Glass City Metropark. Student ambassadors, or “Voices of the Future”, shared words in English and in some of the languages inscribed within the beautiful sculpture.

Students are thankful to Toledo Federation of Teachers and Metroparks Toledo for the opportunity to participate in this ceremony to celebrate community, home, welcoming, resilience, vibrance, faith, diversity, family, unity, and love (the words they shared during the dedication).
