May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At Center of Hope Family Services, we believe mental wellness begins with support, connection, prevention, and hope.

Many families face daily stressors related to parenting, finances, academics, work-life balance, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Without support, those pressures can grow into larger mental health challenges. That’s why our programs are designed to reduce stress and strengthen families before crises occur.

Through youth development, academic support, mentoring, family support services, life skills programming, positive enrichment activities, and community connections, we help children and families build resilience, confidence, healthy coping skills, and stability.

For nearly 30 years, Center of Hope has stood as a steady, caring presence in the Toledo community. Over the decades, we’ve had the privilege of supporting children from every background — seeing their needs, hearing their stories, and stepping in whenever we can.

This winter, we’re continuing that commitment with our Kids Coat, Shoe, and Sock Giveaway, created to ensure our community’s children stay warm, safe, and cared for during the cold months. When we see a gap, we do our best to fill it — because that’s what community means to us.
