At the Compassionate Listening Project, our work begins and ends with the heart, for it is the heart that holds the key to true connection and growth.

The mind, although powerful, can sometimes lead us astray, entangled in the web of conflicts and intellectual machinations. But here's the secret: the same mind that got us into those conflicts cannot be the one to rescue us from them.

So, let's take a step back and shift our focus. Let's shift from the buzzing thoughts in our heads to the beating hearts before us. When we do this, we honor the essence of our shared humanity. We remember that, fundamentally, we are all seeking love, understanding, and acceptance. 🌍❤️

🌱 It is in these moments when we let go of our intellectual grappling and truly see the human being in front of us, that we create the opportunity to connect and grow together. 🌱

Let's nurture the empathy within us and hold space for one another. Through genuine understanding and open hearts, we can build bridges, mend relationships, and foster a world filled with compassion and harmony.

Over the past five years, the Compassion Games have been played in over 40 countries by more than
1,000,000 volunteer players who have served over 15 million people. Past teams have included
community groups, faith congregations, schools, families, government agencies, businesses, and even
inmates in women’s prison!
