Dynamix Outreach Program Mission Statement
Dynamix Outreach Program (DOP) is a conglomerate of three (3) minority, women owned non-profit organizations with the one core mission to provide services to disadvantaged youth and young adults in the greater Toledo area. Our outlined services will include, but not limited to, encouraging and promoting educational, social, health, financial, career, and
life excellence. We will achieve this goal by assisting our participants in maintaining and obtaining commendable grades and credits while in school, educating them socially to excel outside of school and transition into the collegiate or career stages of young adulthood. We will offer educational courses for financial readiness, safe s*x and practices of abstinence, as well as assisting young mothers/families how to time and family manage in such circumstances. Just as well, within this program model, we will promote healthy eating, lifestyle, and physical fitness to prevent life threatening illness and disease, and obesity. We will also provide transitional housing services for young mothers and their children in times of displacement, homelessness or emancipation/court-affiliated predicaments or processes. Inside the core of the outline we will expose our participants to various career fields, trades, in which they may have interest. They will have the exposure in workshops and internship opportunities which will allow for them to get a “kick start” or “head start” in being whom they dream to be when “they grow up”. We will equip them for success; by maintaining not only the encouragement with each of them, but with the local school systems, social services, and mentors that they are involved and affiliated with throughout their growth while they are “Ours”. Although this is a broad range of individuals, we will plan and execute accordingly to accommodate all of their needs and services. Just a bit of background about our conglomerated family… Collectively we are daycare owner/operators of over 20 years, outreach specialists for more over 10 years, minimally high school graduates, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and neighbors who have passionately had lifetimes of dedication to our youth and young adults. Additionally, within the core of outreach, we will provide attainable resources and aide to the extended family of our participants and community in order to reach and maintain OUR goal of dynamically reaching out.
