Our 2026 schedule is officially coming together, and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on. We’re introducing fresh workshops alongside the community favorites you know and love.

We’re kicking things off with The Mirror Effect — a writing workshop designed for those ready to do the inner work and embrace real change.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16th | 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. We spend so much time looking at the world, but The Mirror Effect is about finally looking at the woman staring back at you. It’s time to use the pages to rewrite your story.

✨ Board Applications Are Now Open

The Lean On Me Foundation is currently accepting applications for individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors. As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who want to help guide the future of the Foundation.

Our mission is to create spaces that encourage empowerment, personal growth, and meaningful conversations through community-centered programs, events, and educational opportunities.

We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

• Treasurer
• Board Members at Large

We are seeking women ages 25 and older who are driven, community-minded, and committed to growth and leadership. Ideal candidates are individuals who are passionate about empowerment, willing to contribute their ideas and perspectives, and interested in helping support the mission of the Foundation.

If you are interested in contributing your voice, leadership, and perspective to a growing nonprofit organization, we encourage you to apply.

🎅✨ Santa’s Helpers, We Need You! ✨🎅

The Lean on Me Foundation is thrilled to bring back our annual holiday drive — and this year, we’re spreading Christmas magic by partnering with Friends of Lucas County Children Services!

Friends of LCCS is an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families connected to Lucas County Children Services and raising awareness about the need for foster and adoptive homes.

🎁 This year’s drive will be a Toy Drive! Every donated toy will go directly to Friends of LCCS to help provide gifts for their annual Zoo Holiday Dinner.

🎄 How You Can Make a Difference:
• All toys MUST be purchased brand new!
• Gifts can be for any age or gender.
• Suggested price: $10–$20.
• Teen gift cards (up to $20) are welcome.

With your participation, our goal is to spread joy, give love, and remind a child they matter.

The 4th Annual Lean on Me Sis: Empowerment Brunch was nothing short of incredible. From the moment women walked in, the room carried warmth, grace, and a spirit of sisterhood that can’t be explained.

We shared in Cozy Circle discussions, leaning into prompts about self-acceptance, healing, and becoming. Women opened up about what they’re still learning to accept, what healing looks like in this season, and the daily practices that help them stay rooted. It was powerful to watch strangers become sisters simply by sharing their stories and wisdom.

Our speakers poured deeply into us:
✨ Keyara Edwards, The Voice of Resilience, reminded us of the strength in faith and the power of walking boldly in purpose.
✨ Ebony Carter reminded us that true confidence comes from being both strong and vulnerable — and she challenged us to think generationally about our wealth. Is your money making you money? Is your spending making you money? Her words pushed us to see healing not only as personal work, but also as legacy building for those who come after us.

We laughed, we cried, we reflected, and most importantly, we embraced being cozy within our skin.

To every guest, every speaker, every volunteer, and every hand that made this possible: thank you. You made this year’s brunch unforgettable.
