We have WONDERFUL families hosting in Northwest Ohio but we NEED a few more! We have spots available in Rossford, Maumee, Eastwood, Lake, Oregon, Oak Harbor, Delta, Wauseon. We have also have unlimited spots available at ALL Toledo Public schools and some southeastern Michigan school. Please help us find more host families by sharing and tagging three people who might be able to open their homes for as little as eight weeks to a hard-working, anxious, nail-biting student approaching their deadline. STILL seeking a host family for Bagul! She’s such a responsible girl, who will make a difference in her host family, school, and community during her exchange year. I can’t wait to see who is blessed and blesses her, by choosing her! She needs a family by the end of the month due to her nation’s ONE travel date!

Exchange students attend the local high school, participate in a leadership activities and volunteering, and connect to their host family. The host becomes the American family for the student during their stay with a goal to create a life-long connection.

Host families need to provide:
* A nurturing, family environment
* Meals when the student is at home
* A individual bed to sleep in (can share a room with a host sibling)
* Reasonable transportation to and from school/program activities

All students have medical insurance, school expenses are covered and they get a stipend for personal items.

Does anybody have the space in their home and family for an extra teenager?? 🧑‍🤝‍🧑🏠

These are just a few of our foreign exchange students 🌍 that are hoping to come to the USA 🇺🇸 for this 25/26 school year, but they need a family to live with!

They will arrive in August and live with you as part of your family for the school year. They're excited for the chance to experience an American football game 🏈, eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal 🦃, and see the iconic yellow school buses 🚌!

🌍 Student's meals (except school lunch & out with friends).
🛏️ Bed/bedroom. They can share with someone of the same s*x and within 4 years of age.
🏡 Loving home! Treat them like family, not a guest.

In case you've ever wondered, what are the qualifications to become a host family?

-First, host families come in all different shapes and sizes, they can be single people, married people, people with small kids or big Kids, people with no kids. They can be young (as long as their stable) and old (asks long as their not suffering from illness).

-Second, host families will need to do our online background check and must not have any criminal history (minor offenses over 10 years old may be considered on also case by case basis).

-Third, families must not be receiving needs based government assistance.

-Families provide meals and transportation but students do have their own spending money for school supplies, clothes, sports, entertainment. Etc.

-Fourth, must be able to provide the student with their own bed (they can share a room with one other child within 5 years of their age and the same s*x)

-last but not least, probably the most important thing, is that host families should be loving and supportive and willing to treat the student like your own son or daughter.

Here is a new graphic for our deal Bagul (whose name means ROSE in English). She still needs a family to step up for her asap, as her deadline is drawing near! Her nation has only one travel date and it is immovable. Please let me know if you can host her for just eight weeks as a Welcome Family. That ensures she can come, gets her into a school and making community connections, and we continue looking for a longer term family for her. If you simply can’t let her go, though, you can host her all year! Message me for details!
