September is Infant Mortality Awareness Month. 💙 Queens Village Toledo is partnering with Toledo-Lucas County Getting to 1 and the Health Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO) to help spread the word!

Infant mortality means losing a baby before their first birthday. Lucas County’s three-year average infant mortality rate is 9.7 per 1,000 infants, higher than both the Ohio and national averages.

Each number represents a baby, a family, and a loss felt by our community.

This month, we'll share more about infant mortality and what we can all do to support healthier beginnings across Lucas County.
