Every Monday night, the Tembo house gets filled with shoes by the door as students get ready to share a meal, share jokes, and share life with each other. Each week we grow in learning more about Jesus and who he’s shaping us to become.

We would love to invite you to be a part of what we’re doing by considering to sign up for a meal! Being physically fed helps kids focus so they can be spiritually fed. Would you get your church, your small group, your family, or your business to consider signing up for a meal once every other month? Thanks to everyone that made it out to our Trivia Night!! We had too much fun and we look forward to running it back soon! 🤩 We got to hear a student share how Young Life has impacted their life through Christ and we got to raise some funding to send kids to camp!🏕️

The heroes of Young Life can be found on a Friday morning handing out donuts as kids arrive to school. They can be seen at a football or basketball game 🏀 on a Friday night. They can even be found in a weight room after school. Theses hero’s are our volunteer leaders!

Young Life leaders are part of a missional community of caring adults who want to show up in the lives of middle schoolers and high schoolers. They build genuine relationships in hopes to be a friend, a mentor, and a listening ear. All of this in hopes that students can see how loved they are by God ❤️

Not all heroes love to wear capes, but these ones love to show up! If you are interested in being part of this missional community, send us a message! 😎

Today was a club day so that’s a full day for a Young Life leader! Leaders set up a whole scene at the high school cafeteria where students run in to some fun music, get to enjoy fun games, see familiar faces, and hear the Gospel shared by one of the leaders.

Some have called it a party with a purpose and it’s lived up to its motto! Each club often ends with questions that help students process their own lives as well as who Christ really is.

One of the best parts of Young Life is the experence we have when we get away to a camp. This Fall we took 23 of our studetnts over for a Fall Weekend at Beulah Beach.

Students got a chance to have fun, just be kids, and to not just connect with one another but also with their Creator. Some students stood up and made a decision to start following Jesus and it was incredible! 🥳
