Tofte Community Gardens

Tofte Community Gardens The gardens were established to improve food security and to promote collaboration around gardening.

The Lloyd K Johnson Foundation graciously gave a grant to build 20 raised beds, local volunteers gave of their time and effort to accomplish the build.

Reservations for community garden plots will be open 1 April. Weather permitting the garden will be open 15 April. Initial reservations will be for 1 plot. After 1 May, plot owners may reserve additional plots. Reservations, garden rules etc... can be found on the Tofte Township's website. Happy gardening!

Garden time is coming soon! Community Garden plots will be available through the Tofte Township starting 1 April. Community members will be permitted to reserve 1 garden plot. The gates will open 15 April and unreserved plots will be available 15 May to existing plot owners. In the meantime, stay warm and post here is you are looking for local seed swapping opportunities!
