If you are looking for something to do on a rainy Saturday morning, come by the Friends of the Library Book Sale. Due to the inclement weather the book sale will be in the library meeting room from 10:00 to 1:00. There are still many bargains to be had. Adult books are only one dollar each, small paperbacks are 4 for a dollar. You can also load up an entire box for $10. We have several boxes of military history and science fiction as well as general fiction and non-fiction. There are also boxes of chapter books for the kids and grandkids. If you like to listen to audio books, there are lots of them as well at a cost of only $1.00 each. Hope to see you tomorrow.

The Friends of the Library are looking forward to our second Sidewalk Book Sale on Friday, April 23rd and Saturday April 24th. Due to the Covid situation it is not possible to hold our book sale indoors as we have in the past. We have a great selection of excellent books but are looking for more. If you have gently used books that you would like to donate to the sale, please take them to the library before April19th. We are not able to accept textbooks, encyclopedias, sets of reference books, magazines, VCR tapes, or Readers Digest Condensed Books. Unfortunately, those items just do not sell. The book sale is one of the main fund raisers for the Friends. All money raised by the Friends goes to support the library including the children's summer reading program. This year the Friends also paid for an updated security camera system for the library which makes the library a safer and more pleasant place to be. Mark your calendar to attend the book sale and bring in donations soon if you have them.
