Another successful year means we must say farewell to our graduating high school senior reenactors – Tanner DeShong (top left), Ian Cartney (top right), Jenna Crocker (bottom left), and Haedyn Nichols (bottom right). Before we parted ways, volunteer Lynn Cressman gifted the seniors literature related to their Oil Boom counterparts.

Thank you for being such dedicated volunteers at the Tarbell House. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors!

Woodlawn Burial Project update: look who we found in the stat books! Ida Minerva Tarbell, buried May 11, 1944 after her death on January 6.

The Woodlawn Cemetery stat books provide a valuable insight into each burial in the cemetery. In its pages you will find genealogical information, cause of death, personal details, and much more. You can see from this particular page that acid has migrated from the obituaries and newspaper clippings that were included with this important burial. As we find pages with this damage, we layer in archival tissue paper to prevent further discoloration.
