Celebrate World Bicycle Day today -- and keep the party going with National Trails Day Saturday. Join Titusville Renaissance, Inc. and the Titusville Area Trails Association from 9 a.m. to Noon on the Queen City Trail just off of the Jersey Bridge Trailhead for a morning of FREE fun activities for all ages and skill levels.
Don't worry about the weather! This event is held rain or shine! Wear your comfy shoes and sunscreen and maybe bring an umbrella and a sweatshirt. No equipment needed.
Activities will be offered by Oil Creek State Park, Titusville Council on the Arts, the Oil Region Alliance, Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad, Drake Well Museum & Park and more! Enjoy a performance by the Community Band brass ensemble at 10 a.m. Meet Lincoln the owl and Wild Wings' Master Falconer Gary Ratay as well as members of the Cherrytree Volunteer Fire Department K-9 Search and Rescue unit. Watch plein air artists create works of art before your eyes and get inspired to make your own masterpiece. Learn how you can borrow bicycles from CATA to cruise the Queen City Trail, part of the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail system.
