Don't forget about United Way's Talking is Teaching Program. July's free book is Every One Eats by Julia Kuo.

This program provides Titusville Area children, ages birth through five, can receive a free book by visiting the Benson Memorial Library. For every book you collect, you will receive a stamp on a stamp card. After eight stamps, your child will be gifted a bag full of books and other helpful resources.

The program will run from June 2025 through May 2026, totaling 12 free books for you and your child to read!

Books will be handed out during Baby & Me on Thursdays at 10:00 am, Book Buddies on Tuesdays at 11:15 am, or at the desk during normal business hours.

United Way's Twelve Days of Giveaways - Christmas in July starts on Thursday, July 10th, 2025! This fundraiser supports the Imagination Library, which provides children, age birth through five, with free monthly books delivered to their homes. United Way funds this program for children in Venango, Forest, and Titusville areas.

During the Twelve Days, we do drawings on weekdays on Facebook Live at noon. Prizes consist of 8 packages valued at $150, 3 valued at $250, and the Grand Prize valued at over $400! Every ticket purchase enters you into all twelve days of drawings.

🩸Urgent Need for Blood Donations!🩸
The Community Blood Bank is in critical need of all blood types!

You can donate blood on June 26th, 2025, from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Titusville YMCA, PA. All June donors will be entered for a chance to win a set of two kayaks!

Donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh a minimum of 110 lbs., have not gotten tattoos or piercings in the past 3 months, and be in good general health.

Walk-ins are welcome, or call 814-593-3395 to schedule an appointment.

Last Week, United Way and an incredible team of community volunteers came together to plant fresh produce at the David L. Weber Community Garden!

This year's garden includes tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, herbs, and more!

The garden gate will remain unlocked so you can stop by anytime that is convenient. Take a stroll, check out what's growing, and enjoy this peaceful community space!

We invite kids and families to the David L. Weber Community Garden for Part 1 of our Beginner Gardening for Kids and Families!

Held on June 11th, 2025, at 6:00 pm, part 1 of 3, will showcase how to plant seeds and starters for outdoor growing. Participants will plant their own lettuce, beans, carrots, or peas to take home and watch grow.

The following two events will be held on June 9th at Associated Charities and August 13th at Benson Memorial Library. Individuals who attend at least 2 of the 3 events will be entered to win a gardening prize package.

🎄🌞🍻Tickets are on sale for our Christmas in July - Twelve Days of Giveaways!

Tickets are $5 each or three for $10 and can be purchased online at https://fundraise.givesmart.com/f/2zf0/n?vid=c3gb3 Every ticket purchased gets you entered into all twelve drawings. Drawings will be held weekdays from July 10th - July 25th.

During the weekday giveaways, there will be eight prizes valued at $150, three valued at $250, and the Grand Prize valued at over $400! Prizes consist of a variety of adult beverages to help get you in the spirit! Winners are announced via Facebook Live at noon and then notified by phone.

50/50 tickets are also available, $1 for one ticket, or $5 for ten. All proceeds benefit the Imagination Library, which gifts free monthly books to Venango, Titusville, and Forest County children from birth through age five.

With the merger of United Way of the Titusville Region and the United Way of Venango County, we will begin phasing out this page.
