So far we only have 1 paid registered angler for the tournament. We also have a couple orders for tournament hooded shirts.
This is our first year doing this, adding Hurricane Ian to the mix, we have been presented some challenges and opportunties.
If you would take a minute and please consider sharing some feedback. Let's see if we can figure out what we're missing?
Currently we are contemplating moving things to a virtual tournament following the Live Captain's Meeting this Friday October 21, and extending virtually until December 24, 2022. Moving to a "take-a-buddy" format. Where you would have to take a photo with a buddy and the tournament token with your fish in the photograph. That fish would count as 1 fish for each "registered angler" in the photograph.
Requirements:
Purchase registration to obtain your Tournament Token. Photos would need to be electronically submitted to the Hunt for Red Fishers email, and shared to the Facebook and Instagram tagging the At the end of the season/tournament - awards will be presented to the single angler who caught the most fish in each category. Men's/Women's - Young Men's/Young Women's - Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon.
The token currently has an additional function to serve at area restaurants and establishments, present once per visit for a free beverage, desert, or appetizer with meal purchase. Good until September 31, 2023.
