The eighth-grade basketball team had a remarkable weekend. This group of young men is highly motivated to demonstrate their capabilities to those who underestimated them. Each individual contributes unique strengths, and their combined efforts on the court create a synergistic and effective team. This weekend, these girls made basketball fun again! Despite being short in numbers and facing a skill-level disadvantage, they ran plays on offense and played man-to-man defense, demonstrating incredible teamwork and sportsmanship. Many of these girls are cheerleaders just learning the game, so as a coach, it's a relief to have kids eager to listen and learn. It makes coaching so much fun! Keep an eye out for these faces because by next year, they'll be a 7th-grade team to be reckoned with, but for now, we'll keep growing and developing! 🏀⛹️‍♀️

What a weekend with the boys! Saturday's losses were a stepping stone to Sunday's Championship Game victory. The kids fought hard, showed great teamwork, and proved that our coaching has paid off. We're proud of every single one of them - congrats, boys! Everyone scored on Sunday. Diamonds

Proud congratulations to the DCA 9th grade Boys on an incredible weekend of basketball! They secured 1st place in the Silver bracket, and we, the Coaches, couldn’t be prouder of this amazing team. A special shout out to all the parents who supported them from Friday to Sunday. There’s still much room to grow, but this is just the beginning of the season, and we’re excited to see what the future holds!
