With great regret this years Biennial Work Weekend has been cancelled. The Board of Trustees will meet through a Zoom Meeting in July to take care of any immediate and necessary business. We will also choose a date for the next Work Weekend to be held in 2026. Thank you for your understanding and do not hesitate to reach out to those named below for any questions or suggestions. We appreciate each and every one of you.

This years Biennial Work Weekend will be held Fri & Sat, June 13 & 14, 2025 starting at 9am each day at Hunter Cemetery.
We are in need of worker bees to help clean up the cemetery and around the fence line, replace broken slats in the fence, as well as other general maintenance and headstone repair.
Lunch will be served…a small donation is requested.
Hunter Cemetery is located 7 miles South of Tiskilwa on the Alan Read Farm, 17649 - 300N, Tiskilwa, IL
If there are any Scout Troops or other organizations or persons who would be interested in spending a couple of days or even a few hours helping to care for a beautiful Pioneer Cemetery please contact…

Good Morning...Puxatonie Phil says Spring is just 6 weeks away, but that means it's time to think about working at Hunter Cemetery again this year. We have had a rough winter but looking forward to Spring. 2025 is also the year for our Biennial Work Weekend in June. A good time to spend a couple of days cleaning up Hunter Cemetery and visiting with each other over some wonderful meals. Looking forward to seeing everyone again this summer.
