🇺🇸 A Grateful Salute to a Remarkable Leader 🇺🇸

Last night, our hearts were full as we gathered to honor Vickie Luster-Parks for her faithful leadership and devoted service as Commander of Davis-Moore American Legion Post 164.

For the past two years, she has poured her heart into this post — leading with compassion, integrity, and an unshakable love for veterans, their families, and our community. Her steady guidance has been a light to so many, and her impact will be felt long after her time as Commander.

She didn’t just serve — she inspired.
She didn’t just lead — she loved.

Commander Luster-Parks, thank you for standing strong for those who have served and for showing us all what it truly means to serve with honor.

At American Legion Auxiliary Unit 164 in Tishomingo, we honor more than just service—we honor the sacrifice that continues long after the uniform is folded.

PTSD is real. It’s often silent. But it is never something to carry alone.

This month, we remember our heroes with red poppies—symbols of remembrance and resilience—and we commit to being a voice of support and understanding in our community.

To every veteran, every family member, and every battle fought beyond the battlefield:
