Participate in the free Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest!

This national contest challenges K-12th grade students to create an original piece of art featuring native waterfowl (ducks, swans, and geese) species and a conservation message. Winner of the national contest becomes the official Junior Duck Stamp. Entries are first judged at the state level. The Best of Show for Oklahoma will represent the state in the National Contest.

🦆Contest is FREE to enter! Entries must be postmarked by February 15th. Entries should be mailed to 11766 S. Refuge Road, Tishomingo, OK 73460.

Did you know Santa Claus likes to visit National Wildlife Refuges? This year, Santa let us know that he will be visiting Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, December 6th from 10 am to 2 pm. Come on out and explore the Craven Nature Trail with Santa, make some winter themed crafts in the Visitor Center, and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. This event is free and open to all ages. Sponsored by T.R.E.E.S. (Tishomingo Refuge Ecology and Education Society).
