FEMA Mobile Registration Intake Center (MRIC) will be open for Tipton County residents. Representatives at this center will provide in-person assistance, answer questions and help homeowners and renters apply for FEMA's Individual Assistance Program for residents effected by the flood.

Hours of Operations : Friday September 4th 9am-7pm and Saturday September 5th 9am-4pm

Location: Tipton County Fairgrounds, 1200 S Main St. Tipton, IN 46072

Applicants should bring their Social Security number, insurance details, information about damages, financial documents, contact information and direct deposit details.

One week ago, the Event Center hosted over 600 guests across multiple buildings for registration, trade show exhibits, lunch, and guest speakers, as Pioneer Seeds celebrated a century of excellence. Our team worked closely with Pioneer Seeds' team over several months to orchestrate this commemorative event, providing a platform for their valued customers and guests to reflect on past achievements and look forward to future milestones.

We appreciate Pioneer Seeds for selecting our venue for this momentous occasion.

Catering services were provided by Shoup's Catering & Events, ice cream was supplied by Rosie's Creamery, and tent rentals were furnished by American Tool And Party Rental.

We are asking for community members willing to volunteer at the Tipton County Fairgrounds shelter.

Volunteers will work in 4-hour shifts, with 4 volunteers needed per shift. Duties may include:

• Greeting and assisting evacuees
• Registration and check-in
• Distributing food, water, and supplies
• Assisting with shelter setup and cleanup
• Helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment

🐾 Please note: The Tipton County Fairgrounds shelter is pet-friendly. If you have allergies or sensitivities to animals, this may not be the best location for you.

Here is an update for shelters in Tipton County.

✅Tipton County Fairgrounds -Auditorium
1200 South Main Street is open for sheltering with pets. Pets must be crated.

✅Rock Prairie Church,421 Ash St. is open for a shelter for those that need it. No pets.

✅West St Christian Church 132 N West St. is open for sheltering. No pets
