💙😴 Safe Sleep Class for New & Expectant Parents 😴💙

Are you expecting a baby or have recently welcomed a new little one into your family? Join us for our upcoming Safe Sleep Class and learn important information to help create a safe sleep environment for your baby.

⏰ 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

This class is open to new and expectant Tipton County parents and covers safe sleep practices, recommendations, and resources designed to help reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths.

🎁 At the conclusion of the class, participants will receive:

✔️ Pacifiers
✔️ Certificate of Completion
✔️ Additional Safe Sleep Education Materials

For those impacted by the flooding in Tipton County, please follow these instructions regarding how to report your damage.

Important Disaster Assistance Information!
If your home was impacted by the August 11, 2026 severe weather and flooding, there may be assistance available through the Indiana State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF).
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) reports that residents whose primary residence was impacted may qualify for assistance for certain uninsured damages, provided the required disaster declaration criteria are met. Eligible expenses may include certain:
- Home repairs
- Essential furnishings
- Essential appliances
- Essential tools
- Debris removal
- Medical devices
- Essential transportation
Tipton County residents are specifically included in the counties being asked to report storm damage to Indiana 211.
Reporting your damage helps the state develop a comprehensive assessment of the disaster and determine what additional assistance may be available.

Visit Indiana 211 to report your damage and find available resources.
If you believe you may qualify for assistance, you can submit an application through IDHS. Applications will be reviewed by the state, and additional information may be requested.

IDHS' August Disaster Resource Hub is now available. The hub serves as a comprehensive resource center for individuals seeking state and federal assistance and updates related to the severe weather events that began on Aug. 11.

The hub also includes the application for the State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF), specifically for Aug. 11 events. Impacted Hoosiers may qualify for emergency aid grants of up to $5,000. This fund is designed to help families secure essential items like clothing and uninsured medical devices while they are displaced from their homes.
