Smithville fiber is experiencing some outages in our area due to some sort of emergency. They are not able to get in and repair due to emergency services at this time. Estimated outage is about 6 hours.

Power is out at 28 and 725. Called Duke and they said they are en route to see what's going on. They said the outage is affecting about 200 homes in the area.

There have been quite a few emergency vehicles fly down 28 to 900. I hope everyone is ok!

As we are all preparing for the holiday, I wanted to make sure I let everyone know... We will be setting off fireworks after dark on the 4th. I hope everyone enjoys the holiday and takes a moment to remember why we celebrate. Happy 4th!!!
